Account Manager
As an Account Manager you have the responsibility of managing and growing the client relationship and acting as the link between our clients and our production staff. The Account Manager provides client and project team leadership and deals with the day-to-day work, ensuring it is produced on time and on budget. Account Managers put together proposals and set up meetings to present the brief and estimate costs to the client. They must have a high level understanding of internet marketing, web site design and development.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
BUILD, MAINTAIN, AND GROW BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS
- Secure, build and maintain relationships with senior managers within client organization to ensure the success and satisfaction of each client
- Gain and maintain familiarity with clients’ products, business culture and competition and provides MediaRich’s internal teams with appropriate insight into client’s strategic business initiatives
- Act a link between client and production staff by maintaining regular contact with both, ensuring that communication flows effectively
COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY
- Present campaign plans to clients for approval or modification
- Brief media, creative and research staff, and formulate marketing strategies
- Proactively sells and manages customer expectations and communicates project and profit risks to MediaRich’s team and client
TEAM COLLABORATION
- Work with Project manager by assisting to prioritize tasks, ensuring deadlines are met, handling budgets and managing campaign costs
- Provides leadership, support and ongoing guidance to members of the project team
- Monitor and report of the effectiveness of campaigns
- Arrange and chair meetings
REQUIRED SKILLS
- General management experience, especially account management experience a plus
- Experience with site development, specifically involvement in large scale site design, build-out and maintenance/enhancements
- An understanding of internet marketing and Web site development, including search content management, e-commerce, electronic marketing, personalization, portals
- Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal skills, especially in situations involving consensus and team building with strong problem solving skills related to program and account management
- Knowledge of industry structure, trends, initiatives, and issues
- Keen sense of creative thinking and problem solving
- Able to cultivate trust and credibility with peers and maintain strong working relationships at all levels both internally and with a client
- Ability to lead projects/initiatives from inception to delivery
- Ample knowledge and understanding of all project disciplines in order to provide a quality assurance check of project deliverables and able to provide commentary on best practices and solutions across these functions
