Technical Administrator
As a Technical Administrator you will be an integral part of our operation. We need someone who has not just an interest in computers, applications, and the web, but a passion for them. You will be required to not only keep us up and running, but also provide technical support to our clients. To do so, you must not only have an in-depth understanding of the tools we use but strive to stay current on the latest technologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
SUPPORT AND MAINTAIN
- Provide diagnostic support to internal staff and external customers.
- Become familiar with our client base and the network resources being utilized by all internal/external customers.
- Support for all the applications and tools we use.
- Manage and execute all troubleshooting procedures for services we utilize.
- Maintain our internal network.
- Monitor & ensure hosting companies keep backups.
REPORT & TRACK
- Assemble and update documentation in the form of problem and change management tickets.
- Maintain and organize all databases and mailing lists.
- Work with developers and coders as needed to develop and update websites, including an active online community.
- Maintain internal network. Monitor & ensure hosting companies keep backups & ensure work orders are submitted when any online services we subscribe to are down.
- Work as a team player with the other contractors, including the marketing, design team, and others.
- Maintain and organize all databases and mailing lists.
WORK ON THE WEB
- Keep websites optimized by key word integration and other optimization techniques.
- Assist with online marketing tactics when related to the website.
- Work with other developers and coders as needed to develop and update websites.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Technical website/development skills.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Working knowledge in activating, provisioning, and troubleshooting services, inclusive of database and monitoring services.
- Working knowledge of Windows, Server Technology, Databases, and Online Communication Tools.
- Strong systems and network troubleshooting skills.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships within a team.
- Inventive and energy-driven.
- Open-mindedness and enthusiasm.
- Work as a team player with the other contractors, including the marketing, design team, and others.
- Desire to stay current with the latest technologies.
